Officials in Daviess County are looking for a man who caused concern at a local airport while trying to contact a U.S. congressman.
What Happened at the Airport
According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, the situation began when a man arrived at the airport asking unusual questions and trying to enter restricted areas.
The man was reportedly looking for Brett Guthrie, who has a field office at the airport.
Suspicious Actions

Officials later identified him as Kevin Mendoza from North Dartmouth, Massachusetts. He had arrived in a rental car.
Search Ongoing
Authorities are currently trying to locate Mendoza. Sheriff Youngman said officers want to speak with him to understand what he needed and to offer assistance if required.
