A multi-vehicle accident has caused traffic disruption in Daviess County, with officials urging drivers to be cautious in the area.
Accident reported on Wendell Ford Expressway
The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash involving multiple vehicles on the westbound side of the Wendell Ford Expressway.
The accident happened near New Hartford Road, in the 1600 block of the expressway.
Road closure and traffic impact
Officials say:
- Both westbound lanes are currently shut down
- Traffic is being stopped while crews clear the scene
- The road may remain closed for at least an hour or longer
