The Kentucky State Police Post 16 in Henderson confirmed that Angela S. Long, 45, has been captured. She was located in Barren County on April 12, 2026, just two days after her escape.
Officials said she was taken into custody without any trouble and will now be returned to the Department of Corrections for further processing.
How the Escape Happened
Angela Long had been staying at a facility run by Dismas Charities in Owensboro. She was serving a sentence related to theft and substance abuse cases.

- She was seen getting into a black passenger car
