A Greenville woman died in the KY 189 collision

Police in Greenville have identified the woman who died after a crash in Muhlenberg County on Friday morning.

Crash Details

According to the Greenville Police Department, the accident happened around 11:30 a.m. on the KY 189 Bypass near Muhlenberg County High School.

Authorities said a vehicle driven by Glenda Mauk, 70, went off the road and overturned. Police believe she may have suffered a medical emergency, which caused her to lose control of the vehicle.

Victim and Injuries

Mauk was airlifted to Skyline Medical Center with serious injuries but later died.

Two passengers in the vehicle were also taken to Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Their injuries were reported as non-life-threatening.
