Police say a 53-year-old man, identified as Timothy Pharris, entered a home without permission. The homeowner told officers that the man suddenly came inside and acted aggressively.
According to the report, Pharris grabbed the victim’s dog by its collar and choked it so hard that the collar broke. The act caused distress to both the pet and its owner.

When the homeowner asked why he was inside, Pharris reportedly said he did not know. As the situation became tense, the victim warned that police would be called.
