Following a drug bust in Kentucky, five persons were detained

Five people were arrested following a drug investigation and burglary case at a residence in Corbin, Kentucky, according to police reports.

Federal Arrest and Discovery of Drugs

The Corbin Police Department, along with the Whitley County Sheriff’s Department and the U.S. Marshals Service, served a federal arrest warrant on Friday at a home on Incline Road.

After taking a woman into custody, officers noticed a large amount of illegal drugs inside the home, prompting them to obtain a search warrant. During the search, authorities discovered methamphetamine, marijuana, narcotic pills, LSD, and drug paraphernalia.

Burglary Investigation and Additional Searches

Authorities then executed a second search warrant related to a burglary that occurred on March 25. Investigators revealed that two suspects had broken into a home, stolen multiple items, and security footage linked one of the suspects to the residence on Incline Road.

During this search, additional methamphetamine, a stolen handgun, and a large quantity of stolen property were found.

Arrested Individuals and Charges

The five arrested individuals were identified as:

  • Nikhil Parlulekar
  • Nicholas Hammond
  • Scarlett Wyatt
  • Wesley Croley
  • Victoria Day

Parlulekar and Hammond face multiple charges, including:

  • First-degree burglary
  • Possession of a handgun by a convicted felon
  • Theft of a firearm
  • Drug possession
  • Drug paraphernalia

Wyatt is charged with:

  • Trafficking and possession of methamphetamine
  • Additional drug-related offenses

Croley faces charges of:

  • Trafficking in a controlled substance
  • Drug paraphernalia

Day was arrested on a federal warrant and faces several charges, including:

  • Trafficking in a controlled substance
  • Possession of LSD and marijuana
  • Other drug-related offenses

Detention and Ongoing Investigation

Day was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center, while the other four suspects were taken to the Whitley County Detention Center. The investigation remains ongoing.
