A woman from Columbia was arrested early this morning in Russell County on multiple drug-related charges, according to officials.

What Happened

The Russell County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Nikki Riter (41) was taken into custody during an early morning operation.

She was arrested by Deputy Stone Bolin.

Charges Filed

Police say Riter is facing several charges, including:

  • Operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Possession of a legend drug
  • Possession of a controlled substance (second degree)
  • Controlled prescription substance not in proper container

Officials added that there may be additional charges as well.

Custody Details

Riter was taken to the Russell County Detention Center, where she was lodged just before 4:45 AM.
