Police in Somerset arrested a man over the weekend for allegedly breaking into a hotel under construction.

What Happened

According to the Somerset Police Department, officers were called on Saturday night after reports of a burglary at the Home2 Suites being built on Jefferson Drive.

Suspect Arrested

When officers arrived, they found a man trying to run away from inside the building. He was identified as Terry S. Moore, 25.

Police arrested him at the scene.

Charges Filed

Moore is facing:

  • Third-degree burglary
  • Theft by unlawful taking

Officers also discovered he had an active warrant for a parole violation.

Custody Details

He was taken to the Pulaski County Detention Center, where he is currently being held.
